Mr. Lopez is the GOP candidate running to complete former GOP Congressman Ken Buck's term representing Congressional District 4 which ends on January 4, 2025. Mr. Lopez is not running for an additional term. The special election to replace Buck takes place in conjunction with the primary and Mr. Lopez will be listed on the primary ballot together with a Dem. challenger.
